Cape Agulhas represents the most southern point of Africa; however, here at the Cape of Good Hope it is where the two currents meet, one warm one cold, the cold Benguela Current finds its way along the West Coast of Southern Africa going up north, the strong warm Agulhas Current forming the west boundary of the Indian Ocean finding its way along the East Coast down south.

It is here where many ships found and still find her final destination. Shipwrecks around the Cape of Storms showing here and there their fading existence, a slowly disappearance into the sea caused by hammering waves and gradually covered by the fine sand along endless beaches.
