As from 2004 On Set Images, according to its Mission Statement, researches the life of its Khoekhoe, San and Griqua population, indigenous and traditional customary structures, tracing their roots from Botswana to the most southern point of Africa, Cape Agulhas and the Cape of Good Hope where the cold Benguela Current meets the warm Agulhas Current, and again up to the north along the West Coast, crossing the Great Gariep (Orange River) to Namibia. On Set Film Productions, for the sake transparency, is On Set Images arm when a documentary reaches production stage. However, the basic research of a project is done under the umbrella of the Indigenous Peoples Society of South Africa, IPSOSA, as well as under Alternative Tourism.
